L Mr & Mrs L's house is a chalet bungalow style. This always throws up problems such as roof space and loft space! A quick survey of the roof proved this to be the case, with there being no real space to safely install a panel but also there was no south facing elevation either. Things didn’t get much better on the inside of the house when it came to the airing cupboard. The doorway was only 400mm wide, and a standard cylinder measures 450mm, plus insulation. This job was obviously not going to be straight forward, a special cylinder was needed, loft space was at a premium, and of course there was the roof!!
In conclusion this installation threw up many
problems for us but we overcame them all with proficiency and dexterity.
This was evident in Mr & Mrs L’s appraisal to us upon
